My name is Rio Blue Imperato, I'm a 17 year old born and raised on Maui. I feel like I have had a unique upbringing in part because my parents have been divorced since I was six months old. They are extremely opposite yet both influenced my life in incredibly different ways. I feel I like I have been able to incorporate both their influences and parenting styles to embrace my daily life. This has served me in creating a unique style of interaction with others and a worldview that encompasses many interests. Growing up in Hawaii in predominantly local neighborhoods and attending a well established prep school on has given me the opportunity to see many facets of island life. I feel through my commitment in the classroom and different sports arenas I am forging my own style and creating my unique roadmap for life. I look forward to expanding my worldview in the years ahead and know the foundation and experiences I have so far are solid!
